In her role as Principal at McConnell HR Consulting, Kathy spearheads transformative HR and Organization Design initiatives, driving tangible results. Since 2006, she has orchestrated pivotal organization renewal projects, including the groundbreaking transformation of the National Research Council’s National Science Library and strategic structure reviews for a diverse array of clients – spanning museums, galleries, non-profits, private firms, and professional associations.

With a wealth of multi-sector expertise, Kathy has honed her craft in crafting tailored HR Strategies and programs for public agencies, private utilities, healthcare organizations, and associations, seamlessly operating between Ottawa, Canada, and the Caribbean.

Kathy’s credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and the CHRL designation. She has furthered her knowledge with studies in Organizational Analysis and Design at institutions such as New York University and DePaul University in Chicago. She also holds certification as a Human Capital Strategist (HCS) from the Human Capital Institute in Washington, DC.

Kathy recently secured a Business Process Management Certification from the University of Toronto. Her tenure as past-President of the Human Resources Professionals Association – Ottawa Chapter showcases her dedication to advancing the HR profession.
